During a press conference on Friday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed that the un-Affordable Care Act, aptly named Obamacare, was “bipartisan” legislation.

While Pelosi claimed the Republicans had some say with proposed amendments and such, not one Republican voted in favor of the bill. In fact, 34 Democracts even voted against it!

During the press conference, CNS News and Pelosi had a particular exchange.

CNS: You expressed yesterday opposition to repealing Obamacare and defunding Planned Parenthood through reconciliation. How do you square that with that’s how the Democrats were able to put Obamacare in place in the first place?

Pelosi: Actually – thank you for asking that question. The Affordable Care Act was passed not under reconciliation when it first came to the Congress.
