We are officially living in the age of offensiveness, according to some of the ridiculous reasons that our nation’s precious snowflakes are up in arms.
While some people have the capability to understand that being offended happens, and that differences of opinions are what makes our entire existence exciting and competitive, others believe that they have a right to not be offended. Of course, this is completely alogical, and, of course, the largest population of these crybabies just happen to reside on the left side of American politics.
At the crux of this issue are situations similar to what happened at a high school basketball game in Des Moines, Iowa, in which the home team’s fans organized themselves to represent their American pride by decking themselves out in red, white, and blue. Of course, this display of patriotism was sure to offend someone, and, like clockwork, it did.
