That’s right. A reward has been issued after there was a break-in at a gun shop in southeastern Minnesota. The thieves got away with as many as 80 guns during the early morning burglary.

The shop owner, Keith Shones, has shared the surveillance footage with both KTTC and ABC 6.

It shows three masked burglars kicking down the door at 4:41 a.m., KTTC says. One of the thieves takes boxes of ammunition while another uses an elbow to break the glass of a display case and steal firearms.

According to Shones, the investigators came and took samples from the blood on the glass case in the store. The thieves worked quickly, just over a minute, and left behind a mess as they made off with items worth $40,000

Under Minnesota law, theft of a gun is punishable with up to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $100,000.

If you, or someone you know, can give law enforcement any type of tip about the guns or thieves, please call 1-800.283-4867, or go online to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota or reportit.com.
