It is well known that celebrities often voice their opinion on controversial topics and politics. So what exactly is Beyonce trying to tell us in her new song, “Daddy Issues?”
In the song, she says that her father taught her how to shoot, and Beyonce sings, “With his right hand on his rifle, he swore it on the bible. My daddy said “Shoot.””
In one stanza of the lyrics, she even mentions the second amendment:
Daddy made me fight
It wasn’t always right
But he said girl it’s your second amendment, oh, oh, oh
He always played it cool
But daddy was no fool
This could potentially be very influential on behalf of gun activists everywhere.
