Every January, pro-life advocates gather in Washington DC for the annual March for Life. Their marches began as protests a year after the infamous Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade, which legalized the murder of millions of unborn children.
For the past eight years under the murderous regime of Barack Obama, the pro-life movement has had little to give them hope. This year’s theme for the march is ‘The Power of One,’ and this year, marchers have more hope than they have in years past, due to the recent actions of the US House or Representatives and President Donald Trump.
Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life expressed the hope and optimism for this year’s march, saying:
“It’s going to be extremely joyful. People know action is coming. . . . [Trump] made his pro-life promises, and the pro-life movement is excited about those promises.”
