When I attended public school many years ago, America was still considered to be a Christian nation and many Christian values and morals were taught in the public schools. When it came to sex education, we were taught that sex was sacred between a husband and wife and the only way to avoid sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies was to abstain from having sex outside of marriage.
We were also taught to respect others, respect our nation and leaders, respect and obey our parents and to put the needs of others ahead of our own needs and desires. America wasn’t a utopia, but as a nation and a people we were a lot better off than we are now.
It all changed in the mid-1960s when a few whining atheists took their complaints to the US Supreme Court. The high court turned on American’s Christian heritage and values and threw God, the Bible, Jesus and everything Christian, out of our public schools and many other facets of public life.
However, any scientist will tell you that a vacuum cannot exist in an open system. In other words, when God, the Bible, Jesus and Christianity are removed, they create a social vacuum that is quickly filled. In America, that vacuum was filled with self-centered, hedonistic, perverse godless values and the consequences have been quite devastating.
