“Attention, please be aware that the staff at Medina ISD may be armed and will use whatever force necessary to protect our students.”
This is the message written on a sign outside of Medina Independent School District, in Texas, which currently has 303 students enrolled between the elementary school and high school.
It went up on Wednesday, near the entrance, and has gained the attention of the media after being posted on the Bandera Bulletin’s Facebook page. Not only has it been “liked” a few thousand times, but it has also been shared thousands of times too.
People are also commenting on the post singing praises for the school.
While there are obviously a few negative Nancy liberals commenting, most of the comments are extremely supportive of the new policy.
The school’s board of trustees discussed the matter for a year, deciding that the sign was necessary to deter all kinds of violence, not just would-be school shooters
I think it’s about time the rest of the schools in this country take some notes from Texas. Campuses would be much safer if the laws were in favor of concealed carry.
