Regardless of who is right or wrong, the general mindset in Congress is that Democrats and Republicans will not work together for the good of the America people, but will continue to argue, bicker and fight on every issue just because they don’t like each other. Some doctors as well as the majority of the American people are sick and tired of the Washington feud and are demanding that they stop the partisan fighting and get to work and fix Obamacare and many of the other problems created or left by Barack Obama.
One of the biggest issues of the 2016 election was the state of health care in the U.S.
Republicans ran on a platform of repealing and replacing a failing ObamaCare system.
Democrats touted ObamaCare as an overwhelming success. Neither party has really addressed the issues surrounding the law—patients are experiencing higher costs, diminished access and poorer quality care.
I waited to see what the first days of the new Congress would bring—would our lawmakers actually deliver on their campaign promises?
