From Tuesday through this morning, over 20 tornadoes ripped through parts of the Midwest. There were 2-3 tornadoes in our general area this morning, leaving over 41,000 people without power.
Tornadoes have wreaked havoc across the Midwest, killing at least two people as a spring-like storm system posed a risk to 45m people from Texas to Ohio.
One person was killed in Ottawa, Illinois and another was in Perry County, Missouri.
At least 20 tornadoes ripped through Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee and Iowa, the Weather Service said.
The Illinois victim was killed by an uprooted tree, Illinois’s Emergency Managemeny Agency spokeswoman said.
