What would you do if your 9-year-old daughter came home from school and started asking you about things like anal or vaginal sex? Then what would you do if you found out that she was asked about these things on a survey at school and that they were told they had to answer the survey?
That’s what Brandy Sobotka-Ramos, of Jerome, Idaho, faced when her young daughter and 11-year-old son came home from Heritage Academy, a charter-school she had enrolled her kids in.
I know if that had happened to my kids when they were in school, it would have been the last day they attended that school. Additionally, I would have been down at the school ready to do battle with whoever was responsible for introducing such things to my kids.
When Ramos dug deeper into the matter, she found out that many of the kids at the charter school were given the mandatory survey that contained the following questions:
